Immigration flood ‘fuelling more hostility’

In the Daily Mail of Tuesday the 2nd of December 2004 an article by Steve Doughty their Social Affairs Correspondent.

[He has confirmed what we have all feared since the appearance of the supposed ‘Servant of the People’ what we still need to find out is which People he is a servant too - it appears any nationality but English.]

The flood of immigration in recent years has provoked increasing hostility, according to a social survey yesterday.

Three pout of four people want a cut in migrant numbers and more than half want it reduced ‘a lot’ the study found.

Such sentiments have grown substantially since the mid-1990s, when fewer than two out of three thought the numbers of newcomers should be cut.

The hardening of opinion has been particularly evident among the educated among the labour supporters and those who follow politics closely, researchers found

The British Social Attitudes report, which is closely watched by Left-wing academics, said the toughening views on migration were nothing to do with any idea of preserving Britishness.

[Well! if those interviewed were from areas where there are literally hundreds of thousands of immigrants who have no intention of embracing our way-of life - they will soon have reason to change their minds]

It found increasing tolerance of ethnic minorities with most people now thinking that accepting UK law, democracy and language is as important as ethnic background in making someone British.

Racism and fear of losing jobs to migrants were also discounted as reasons for growing opposition to migration.

Instead, the researchers found that a growing proportion of people believe that mass immigration is linked to higher crime.

Four out of ten people believe immigration pushes up crime compared with only a quarter in the mid-1990s.

The report found the government has lost the support of many of its natural supporters on the issue of immigration.

This will fuel concern among Labour politicians about the electoral impact of large-scale immigration.

The Survey produced by the NatCen research group and based on interviews with more than 3000 people, is financed by Whitehall and the Government’s Economic and social Research Council.

The Human Rights Act of 1998, according to experts, has driven the increase in immigration.

[Another case of New Labour’s mania with idiotic legislation which with other crack-pot Acts of Parliament will have to be repealed if any sense and order is to be expected to return.]

This has been compounded by the generosity of the courts in immigration cases.

Researchers Lauren McLaren and Mark Johnson said:

‘the introduction of human rights legislation sent a message to asylum seekers that they would get fairer treatment.’

It definitely seems to have spawned more court cases related to immigration and asylum

[Well! are not these the areas where the legal profession obtain unlimited legal aid to add to their massive Compensation culture –of course they will grow –what wont if the money and laws stay in place]

As a result, they said, ambivalence among the British population about immigration had hardened to conviction, ‘and the conviction is overwhelming against it’. The report said:

‘A desire to reduce immigration has increased most among groups who were previously quite pro-immigration such as graduates, Labour supporters and the politically interested.’

[That’s your fault Mr Blair ‘Education-Education –Education’ –those people had to use their brains- after all!]

In 1995, only 65 per cent of people wanted immigration reduced, it found:

By 2003, this had risen to 74 per cent.

[Well! if this does not show what a tolerant people we are –I don’t know what will. It is said that we are as a People slow to anger but when they do they can be terrifying.]

Again in 1995 only 25 per cent thought immigration increased crime.

By 2003, that had increased to 39 per cent.

The survey found that a growing number of people believe Britishness

Is based on values someone holds more than ethnic background.

[We would say Englishness as over 87 percent of the population live in England – Yes! that is the Country that the EU does not show on its map of the UK. While Scotland and Wales are clearly shown. Of course the population includes large numbers of other fellow subjects from the four corners of the world.

This view has been evident to anyone who has attended a march in the capital. When asked about their Britishness they reply I’m English first -British second so there? ]

A third of people, 32 per cent now think speaking English and respecting British laws and institutions are more important than ethnicity.

We now learn from the Daily Mail COMMENT on Christmas Eve that the Queen's Speech will cover the catastrophic fall in Values and Moral behaviour since the beginning of her 56 -year reign. This has been brought about by the actions of HER MINISTERS and the greater number of those in HER PARLIAMENT who have placed THEIR CONCERNS before the INTERESTS of THE PEOPLE and NATION STATE.

As for the fact that HER PEOPLE feel LOST that has been the direct result of the actions of HER SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS and the TRAITOROUS POLITICIANS including PRIME MINISTERS who have stealthily over the 56 years of HER MAJESTY'S REIGN have almost achieved their aim of ENSLAVING the PEOPLE to a FOREIGN POWER.
The reason for the marked drop in the number viewing THE QUEEN'S SPEECH is no doubt because the mass of people have realised years ago that the MONARCH is powerless to PROTECT their WAY-OF-LIFE and events up to now have PROVED THEM CORRECT.
There is a well know saying 'Nero fiddled while Rome burned'
Is it the case on Christmas Day 2007 while the Monarch talks our Rights and Liberties are being taken from us under our very noses?
Of course the QUEEN under HER CONSTITUTIONAL ROLE can only 'Advise and Warn' HER MINISTERS but when the matter concerns the very LIFE of an INDEPENDENT STATE we expect that HER MAJESTY consider the arrangement to be AT AN END as it would make a MOCKERY of the PRIME IMPORTANCE of the MONARCH to protect our inherited Rights and Liberties which HER MINISTERS are endeavouring TO GIVE AWAY.
We as loyal subjects of the MONARCH who is the living embodiment of OUR RIGHTS and LIBERTIES ask at this late stage with only months to the eradication of a FREE NATION STATE some veiled comments that HER MAJESTY will PROTECT our RIGHTS and LIBERTIES.
As for the MORAL tone of the NATION STATE at this most crucial time in ENGLISH CONSTITUTIONAL HISTORY this matter should be left to CHURCH LEADERS who's responsibility it is to CARE for their FLOCKS particularly at this FESTIVAL of CHRISTMAS.
IF HER MAJESTY'S SPEECH has not been pre-recorded we ask HER MAJESTY to give those MILLIONS of HER subjects some hope that their PROTECTOR has NOT FORGOTTEN THEM.
