The Electoral Reform Society, which has campaigned for proportional representation for 130 years, claimed last month's General election was the most disproportionate ever.  It said UKIP would have WON up to 80 seats using the type of PR used in many European nations, while the GREENS would have got 20.  UKIP and the GREENS received 5MILLION VOTES, but under the FIRST-PAST-THE-POST system ended up with ONE MP each.  An E R S-commissioned survey said under PR the TORIES would have seen their tally of MPs fall  by almost 100 while  LABOUR would have gone down 24...

BRITISH EU MEMBERSHIP

In its draft referendum Bill, Downing Street [David Cameron] is permitting huge numbers of Commonwealth and Irish national to take part, basing the franchise on that for GENERAL ELECTIONS.

THIS IS DESPITE THE FACT NO OTHER EU COUNTRY WOULD ALLOW ANYONE BUT ITS OWN CITIZENS TO VOTE IN A REFERENDUM.

Today, an amendment will be tabled in the Lords to try and restrict the vote to

UK NATIONALS.

The disclosure that so many

NON-BRITISH CITIZENS

could affect the vote is revealed in a report by

MIGRATION WATCH,

which describes it as

Those who obtain their REMUNERATION from the GENERAL TAXPAYERS should have UPPERMOST in THEIR MINDS that any appeal as a  SPECIAL CASE should be disregarded knowing that the PAYMENT has been made of the payments to the  PUBLIC PURSE!

We have as an example to follow by the salary received by the PRIME MINISTER  and the AVERAGE WAGE of the WORKER which should be a base mark.

Lastly, we ask the question, why should the general taxpayer ALLOW the competitive aspects of the BUSINESS SECTOR enter into what most would term PUBLIC SECTOR?

No doubt, some would say that you would not get the right type of person for the job. Well ,it seems there are many already paid out of the TREASURY who have forgotten that  working for the PEOPLE! should also involve the matter of a PUBLIC SPIRIT. It should be a matter of giving GOOD SERVICE without BRIBES or BREAK-DOWN of SERVICE.

A ROYAL COMMISSION should be INSTALLED to INVESTIGATE and BRING IN a more EQUITABLE SYSTEM of BENEFIT to the COUNTRY and the GENERAL TAX-PAYER.

Lord Sumption said adopting the European approach meant the' modification of our own legal system'. Dropping the Act would not undermine proper legal protectioon for citizens of the UK, he claimed.

He told the London Evening Standard: 'The fact is there are serious differences, social differences, between different countries in Europe. I don't think one should asume that exactly the same way of protecting human rights is ideal i n every different social context. There is room for differen ways of doing things.'

A study by University College London revealed that between 1995 and 2011, immigrants from outside Europe took £100 BILLION more in BENEFITS and SERVICES than THEY PAID in TAXES.

AN Asian family who converted to Christianity claim they are being driven out of their home for the second time by Muslim persecutors.

Nissar Hussain, his wife Kubra and their six children said they have suffered an appalling ordeal at the hands of neighbours who regard them as blasphemers.

They claim they are effectively prisoners in their own home after being attacked in the street, having their car windows repeatedly smashed and eggs thrown at their windows.

Mr Hussain, 49, has given up his career as a nurse due to the effect on his health. Police have been called numerous times to deal with the trouble but are reluctant to deal with a problem as a religious hate crime.

Only one successful prosecution has been made, and Mr Hussain said he feels so let down by the police he has lodged a complaint with the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
