Tony Blair promises Democracy for the Palestinian People but not for England.

 

 

Mr Blair speaks as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland but in truth our supposed ‘Servant of the People’ has done what no other Prime Minister in our history would do- to undermine the Integrity and Independence of England and divide the people of our Island.

 

We have emphasised the Realm of England and her - as some would say daughters - Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland who have in some degree more democracy than John Bull.

 

When Tony Blair talks with George Bush about Democracy it is as well for the Palestinians and others who they are trying to entice into this poisoned chalice to be aware that our Tony and others of his ilk have for over 32 years signed away the ‘Rights and Liberties’ of the English People and in fact the very Sovereignty of our 1400 year Nation State.

 

As for Democracy in the UK it is badly flawed because how can it be democratic that millions of subjects of the Queen who want out of the EU have had no voice in their Ancient High Court of Parliament which if Mr Blair has his way will soon be no more than a debating chamber with all important decisions taken in the corrupt and unaccountable dictatorship at Brussels.

 

Well! The People of the Northeast have given their answer to being governed through Regions by Brussels by a massive ‘No’ vote in the recent referendum.

 

The Northumbrians in their 1400 years history know how to handle an interloper and False Prophet after all their greatest King ancestor was Edwin. of Edinburgh fame ‘when a women and her newborn babe could walk unmolested from one side of England to the other’.

 

The majority of voters were not so stupid as Mr Prescott thought they would be and we are now told that plans have been scrapped in the other areas. Though the Quango and its most ardent supporter ‘Mr Pastie’the Grand Inquisitor of the Metric Martyrs, and others, are still being left in place no doubt to be ready for another abortive attempt in the future.

 

The three main political parties in the House have ignored the urgent demands of millions of their constituents since 1972 in their wish to retain the Independence of their country whereas any other interest lobby group however trivial, fanciful, or down right dangerous to the fabric of our society is taken immediately into consideration.

 

For Mr Blair to want to promote the values of Democracy when there is such a great injustice in his own backyard - and we hear today that an Inquiry into Parliamentary Democracy has been shelved for now -when it was in the past persistently pursued by the Liberal and then the Liberal Democrats who now no doubt consider they will make hay while the sun shines and have a crack at the first past the post prize.

 

A great liberal historian and philosopher Lord Acton (1834-1902) and an erudite European thinker who’s overriding judgement would be to say: -

 

(1) Is it just? (2) Is it in accordance with the permanent will of the community? (3) Is it practical? (4) Will it be efficient? (5) Will it increase or diminish real Freedom?

 

There is no doubt the above analysis if used in so many issues today-The EU, Regions, our so-called Parliamentary Democracy, would not rate highly under the above definitions.

 

Reform of the Electoral system and the right of every voter to have his vote used and not wasted under the present unfair system should have been the first consideration of our so-called democratic Prime Minister in a Democracy- not an afterthought which he finds inconvenient to implement.

 

The example of our supposed ‘Servant of the People ‘ in wanting Democracy to spread in the world when ignoring it at home should be a warning to those countries who are offered his brand of Democracy to look at the small print and yell out loud if they spot an injustice lurking there and better still reject his so-called Democracy out of hand.

 

The Palestinian people should beware of the attempted bribery and the so-called advantages of Democracy. They only have to look around the world to see what a variation there is to know that it sounds better than it is. Their long history of evolution will lead them the right way with their ability to take what is of benefit from Western Societies but protect their own valuable irreplaceable assets of Family, Faith and Values.

 

Once upon a time we in England were proud of our inheritance but in seven short years of our so-called Democracy the ‘Servant of the People’ has almost taken away our Freedom and we now live in a country where the word equality is everything and our Family values and our way-of- life and standards in English political life have been defiled and dishonoured in a

detestable way, which must astonish the world.

 

We wish the Palestinian people every success in their endeavour to create a stable and peaceful and secure homeland and as your people have done for much of your long history to show a religious tolerance for which in the main your people adhered too before the tragic events which unfolded over 56 years ago at the rebirth of the State of Israel.

 

As with all Patriots everywhere who fight to defend their land and country the words of a Dean of St Paul’s in 1938 said it all: -

 

‘I have laid bare my hopes and fears for my country [England] that I love. This much I can avow, that never, even when the storm clouds appear blackest, have I been tempted to wish that I was other than an Englishman.’
