EU leaders tell Irish to think again.

by

Benedict Brogan

Political Editor in Brussels

[Daily Mail-Friday, June20-2008]

Ireland was under growing pressure to roll over and accept the

Lisbon treaty

last night after voters rejected it, as EU leaders scrambled to find a way out of the crisis.

In a provocative move, they lavished praise on Gordon Brown for the

'political courage'

he showed in forcing ratification of the

Lisbon Treaty

through Parliament despite last Friday's decisive

'NO' vote in Ireland.

[We would call it undemocratic and treasonable action which has been compounded by the very fact that the Irish 'No' vote let the Prime Minister off the hook but he instead decided instead to be a so-called 'Good European' to ensure his future reward should the dirty deed be done on the Irish people.]

France teamed up with key eurocrats to deliver a blunt message in the wake of the shock result in the

IRISH REFERENDUM.

[Of course, it is always France as Germany's junior partner at the head of the EU which has to speak on the latter's behalf otherwise the TRUTH  that Germany is Master and not Slave in the EU would soon become apparent.  This has been the reality for over 50 years and those who claim that there is no such arrangement can find confirmation from a number of neutral and independent sources-

www.worldreports.org]

They want Ireland to have another poll so the EU can secure the 'YES' vote it needs to carry out the next stage of European integration from January 1-2009.

In public there was talk of giving Ireland

'time and space'

to find a solution.

[Well! the Irish people have already said they want a democratic Europe which accepts their culture and does not act like 'Big Brother']

However, behind the scenes the pressure was on. EU leaders last night agreed to put off a decision for four months.

[It is a pity that Gordon Brown did not do likewise]

until the October summit hosted by Nicolas Sarkozy.

But the French President showed no signs of patience as his officials accused Ireland of blocking the deal to

'protect their winnings'

-lavish EU subsidies.

[Does not this very statement confirm that the EU Commission cannot sell the Lisbon Treaty on its good features but must by its own declaration only over BRIBE'S

which says everything we know about the

LISBON TREATY

that it is hard to sell and that is why they are dead against a FREE REFERENDUM in the EUROPEAN  UNION.  What baffles us is how the populations of those countries refused the

RIGHT TO CHOOSE

in the main just shrug it off and get on with their lives?]

Speaking after lunch with Mr Brown in Paris,

[Nicolas Sarkozy] he said:

'I want to say how pleased I am and thank him for demonstrating' political courage'

by leading the ratification of the

LISBON TREATY

He did it with much commitment and much strength.

[WE WOULD CALL IT

   TREASON

as has happened in England's past with such as King John-King Charles I and Charles II but particularly James II.  And as the TREATY of TREASON was signed by Her Majesty THE QUEEN , contrary to her Coronation Oath, to protect our Rights and Liberties  -even if the law has been secretly repealed we can now add:

 Queen Elizabeth II

to our list.  What Good Queen Bess looking down upon us must think hardly bears thinking off but if there is any truth in ghosts appearing when great wrong has been done we hope any one that meets it will direct it to Buckingham Palace where a charade has been played by the occupant for over 55 years.  The millions who have died for their country over centuries in DEFENCE of our FREEDOM and in THREE WORLD WARS against Napoleon-Bismarck and Hitler and in many other conflict since have been BETRAYED by the only hope a once FREE PEOPLE had that THEIR QUEEN would remember the words of a great ancestor

King Alfred the Great

'Power is never a good, unless he be good that has it; so it is the good of man, not of power.  If power be goodness, therefore is it that no man by his dominion can come to the virtues , and to merit; but by his virtues and merit he comes to dominion and power. Thus no man is better for his power; but if he be good, it is from his virtues that he is good.   From his virtues he becomes worthy of power, if he be worthy of it... By wisdom you may come to power, though you should not desire the power.  You need not be solicitous about power, nor strive after it.  If you are wise and good, it will follow you, though you should not wish it.'

Under the title of 'As Warrior' in the work of

Alfred the Great

edited by Alfred Bowker- Mayor of Winchester (1897-98) of 1899  we conclude with the last chapter:

,For the last four years of his life Alfred was undisturbed save by trifling raids of small squadrons, which he brushed off with ease by means of the new fleet of "great ships" which he had built.

The work of defence was done:

Wessex was saved

AND WITH

Wessex

English nationality.

In a few years the king's gallant son, Edward the Elder, was to take the offensive against the old enemy, and to repay on the Danelagh all the evils that England had suffered during the miserable years of the ninth century.  That such triumphs lay within his power was absolutely and entirely the work of his great father, who had turned defeat into victory, brought order out of chaos, and left the torn and riven kingdom that he had inherited transformed into the best organised and most powerful state in Western Europe.

A descendent of the House of Wessex has sold HER KINGDOM to a FOREIGN POWER and her PEOPLE into SLAVERY no doubt it will be said that being a constitutional Monarch did

WHAT SHE WAS TOLD.

Well! over the past previous century we know much about those

WHO JUST FOLLOWED ORDERS

and the tragic consequences which followed with the deaths of over 50million in Europe with as many as 2,000,000 of our own servicemen and women giving their lives in two World Wars

FOR THEIR COUNTRY

 and for their

 ENGLISH CONSTITUTION

*

The words of King Alfred in 896.

"Thanks be to God the  [Danes] army has not broken up the English race"

in the year  (896)

In June -(2008)

It has been the King's Council of the past which has in our day has

SOLD our ENGLAND and PEOPLE into SLAVERY

It has been stated that Parliament is the strength of the British Constitution

The cardinal principle of the English Constitution is admirably stated by Sir John Fortescue, Chief Justice of the Kings Bench under Henry VI in words of splendid dignity and living force:-

[Each underlined word has a separate bulletin]

" A King of England," he says "cannot at his pleasure make any alterations in the laws of the land, for the nature of his government is not only regal but political.  He can neither make any alteration or change in the laws of the realm without the consent of his subjects, nor burthen them against their wills with strange impositions; so that a people governed by such laws as are made by their own consent and approbation, enjoy their properties securely and without hazard of being deprived of them by the King or any other."

Our " Rights and Liberties" are as sacred -some will say more sacred than property, because without those safeguards to our Liberties we are but slaves and not

TRUE ENGLISHMAN

At another time when our shores were threatened by a European power at the time of the Armada our illustrious Queen Elizabeth II at Tilbury

'Elizabeth did not fear. She had no regular army , and scarcely any regular navy, but she called on

EVERY ENGLISHMAN

who could bear arms to come forward to defend his native Land.

Scarcely a man refused.

The Catholics were as forward as the Protestants

Elizabeth reviewed her troops at Tilbury.

'My loving people,' she said, we have been persuaded by some that are careful of our safety to take head how we commit ourselves to armed multitudes, for fear of treachery; but I assure you I do not desire to live to distrust my faithful and loving people

LET TYRANTS FEAR!

I have always so behaved myself that , under God, I have placed my chiefest strength and safeguard in the loyal hearts and good will of my subjects; and therefore am I come amongst you, as you see,

AT THIS TIME

-to lay down my life for my God

AND FOR MY KINGDOM

and for

MY PEOPLE

MY HONOUR

and

MY BLOOD

even in the dust.

I know I have the body but of a weak and feeble women;

BUT I HAVE A HEART OF A KING

and of a

KING of ENGLAND

too, and I think foul scorn that Parma or Spain,

or any

PRINCE of EUROPE

SHOULD DARE TO INVADE THE BORDERS OF MY REALM.'

Within five years of the end of

WAR in EUROPE

A book of the Shakespearean era by  A L.Rowse

TO THE GLORIOUS MEMORY

of

ELIZABETH I

QUEEN OF ENGLAND

In the first page of the

PROLOGUE

we found a parallel with our situation today in June 2008 and the dialogue at the time in 1950 well fitted the situation after the victory in the Second World War

1939-45

'The English people in our time have been through a crisis of their fate to which the nearest parallel is that passed through in the

ELIZABETHAN AGE

Only ours was a nearer thing, and even more depended on it.  The coolest and least impassioned historian must admit that the contribution of the

ENGLISH PEOPLE

in our generation to the

WORLD WAR

was even greater than that of

OUR ANCESTORS;

for it was a more dangerous and exhausting struggle against worse odds and

SO MUCH MORE WAS AT STAKE,

not only

FOR OURSELVES

but

FOR THE WORLD.

THIS IS NOT MY THEME.

What is to our purpose is to note how, in the

MOMENT of GREATEST DANGER

when all might easily have been lost and the

COUNTRY GONE DOWN

for ever to

DESTRUCTION,

people turned for inspiration to that earlier hour, and were

RENEWED  AND WENT ON.

IT HAS INDEED NEVER BEEN FORGOTTEN.

.  .  . It must have some secret for

OUR PEOPLE

that cannot be put in words, though it is hopeless business for a historian to try.

Perhaps it was in the electric, charged moment that

OUR PEOPLE

suddenly reached maturity and

BECAME AWARE OF THEMSELVES AS A PEOPLE

first saw themselves in the

MIRROR of DESTINY

half glimpsed the extraordinary fate that lay ahead across the seas and in the world.

There is no doubt about the fact, when

LONDONERS

in the tense hours of

1940

awaiting the issue of the

BATTLE of BRITAIN

thronged to hear

QUEEN ELIZABETH'S

[THE FIRST]

Golden Speech

to the

COMMONS

of

[ENGLAND]

in

1601

recited in

1940

by our most admired living actress; when the chief box-office draw throughout the

WAR

the one dramatist that never failed to hold the stage of a Warwickshire man who made a successful career in London

over three centuries ; when on the famous morning of

JUNE 6-1944

a company commander, as his landing - craft approached the coast of

NORMANDY

read

Henry V's

speech before

 Agincourt

to his men; when people at home held their breath and felt that not to be there was , in his phrase

not to be there on

CRISPIN'S DAY.

Henry V

'Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;

Or close the wall up with our English dead

In peace there's nothing so becomes a man

As modest stillness and humility

But when the blast of war blows in our eyes

Then imitate the action of a tiger;

Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood

Disguise fair nature with hard-favoured rage.

And you , good yeomen

Whose limbs were made in England, show us here

The mettle of your pasture

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Straining upon the start.

the game's afoot:

Follow your spirit; and upon this charge

Cry 'God for Harry!

ENGLAND and ST GEORGE'

*

IF ONLY?

*

BUT

... O! that we now had here

But one ten thousand of those men in England

That do no work today.

If we are marked to die, we are enow

To do our country loss; and if to live.

The fewer men the greater share of honour.

...We few we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he today that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile

This day shall gentle his condition:

And gentlemen in England now abed

Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks

That fought with us upon St Crispin's day.

*

WE have been unable to obtain even ONE SUPPORTER to TAKE FIRM ACTION in DEFENCE of THEIR COUNTRY

and we have seen the result in the

  HIGH TREASON

in

YOUR

HOUSE OF COMMONS

on that day of

INFAMY

on

MARCH 5 -2008

The people of ENGLAND have been too laid- back and they have NOW paid the PENALTY with the loss of their accustomed liberties for which millions of their ancestors

GAVE THEIR LIVES.

TO PROTECT

On June 6-1944

our troops with their allies left our safe shores for Normandy to set free France and Europe.

On the morning of

D.Day

Field Marshall Montgomery

gave his Message to the troops.

In 1963 he made a public statement

'I say we must not join Europe'

But his plea was smothered by

DECEIT

and

LIES

[Each underlined word has a separate bulletin]

*

For over 36 years no doubt much longer the majority of our so-called representatives  in

 YOUR PARLIAMENT

have been guilty of

TREASON.

But our history books if not altered to suit our

NEW MASTERS

will show that a

SPEAKER

of our

HOUSE of COMMONS

during 1976-83

supported our

ENGLISH ANCIENT

CONSTITUTION

[MARCH 6-2008 and again in JUNE-2008]

We continue the Benedict Brogan article:

His words [Nicolas Sarkozy] will be seized on by British critics who accuse the Prime Minister of failing to kill the deal off.

EU rules say if only one of the 27 member states rejects the treaty-

IT DIES.

Britain could have left the treaty's future in question by declaring that the Irish 'NO' meant  the ratification process

SHOULD STOP

Instead, Mr Brown forced the TREATY through the Lords and secured Royal Assent yesterday hours before visiting Mr Sarkozy on his way to Brussels.

[Well! Gordon Brown had many more pressing matters on his mind and considered at least it will distract the Press for just a moment from the vast number of problems - many of which were of his own making-not taking heed of advice from close at hand. To involve Her Majesty The Queen in the matter of ratification after knowing that the TREATY was DEAD was a dishonourable decision by a Prime Minister who only pushed the issue in order to look good to his many friends in the EU COMMISSION.]

France, which takes the six-month PRESIDENCY of the EU on July 1, is desperate to solve the crisis while it is in charge and push hard to close a deal in October-2008.

The preferred option is to offer Ireland face-saving compromises, such as guaranteed seat on the EU COMMISSION

[Well! we all know what useless phrases are used to elicit co-operation such as 'Red Lines' and we  all know by now that any guarantee is as useless as the guarantee that Hitler gave to Neville Chamberlain in 1938 with his 'Peace in our Time' piece of paper. And all such so called guarantees are as litter -Rubbish!]

Sources close to Mr Sarkozy said:

'The Irish are deeply rooted in Europe. They have also profited from the European  jackpot and want to protect their winnings.

WE ARE READY TO GIVE GUARANTEES

But the Irish Government has said another

REFERENDUM

IS NOT AN OPTION.

[Well! obviously Gordon Brown does not think this is so.]

There are fears that France could demand the

EU GO AHEAD

with

LISBON without IRELAND

which would be seen as tantamount to ejecting Ireland.

Europe Minister Jim Murphy denied the treaty had been killed off and said it was

'a matter for the Irish Government and People to decide the way forward'.

*

THE FUTURE FOR A DEMOCRATIC AND ACCOUNTABLE  EU DEPENDS ON IRELAND STANDING FIRM ON ITS DEMANDS WHICH ARE ALSO THE DEMANDS OF HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF EUROPEANS

WHO HAVE BEEN REFUSED A VOTE

IRELAND

 CAN DO IT FOR

THEM!
